I was born and raised in KC’s Northland. During the Marines, I lived in Okinawa Japan, South Korea, and Southern California. Home is where the heart is, so I came back to my roots and worked from home in telecom for 20 years.

I have been married for 21 years and we have two amazing kids that keep us busy with activities. We are avid KC sports fans!

After having a brand new cedar deck built, I wanted it professionally stained. I couldn’t find anyone except handyman services to do it and they would estimate going to box stores to get the material. I wanted a more professional commercial grade and couldn’t find anyone to do it. After much research and going down to Texas to get certified in all components of staining, I started my own fence and deck staining company: Veteran Elite Stain Company.
